For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. 1 Cor 15:20-22

By One man

But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:20-22

By a man also came the resurrection

The world has innumerable number of human beings. But most often it is by a man whose deeds of good or evil, the world events are affected. Be it a great world war, or invention of a medicine for epidemic, be it social advisement, be it scientific theory...everything is outcome of one man's action. If you read the Bible also, the same thing happens in the salvation history.

Most often it is one man, it is one Moses who threw away his fear and went back to Egypt, obeying God's words and was able to deliver the people of Israel who was enslaved for 400 years under the rule of Pharaoh.

It was one Elijah who was able to challenge the false worship that was prevalent; who was able to bring fire from heaven and challenge the pagan woman who was the king's wife.

It was one Peter who was willing to forgo his fishing job and offer everything towards the cause of Jesus.

It is one man Paul who got converted after meeting the Risen Christ on the way, enduring the journey that makes us possible to know the salvation history, and thereby inherit the resurrection and the eternal life

It is always one man. You can be that one man through whom God wants to bring peace to this world, liberation to this world, happiness and joy to mankind.

You should consider your life as precious. God always said you are precious to me. I have engraved your name in My palm. The one who touches you touches the apple of My eye. That special God thinks each and everyone of us.

Like Paul we should be able to say "I can do anything with the help of the Lord." That should be our attitude. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can achieve anything and everything for the wellbeing of mankind.

Abba, Thank You for creating us individuals, Thank You for having plans for each and everyone of us. Like Your Son may we be willing to follow Your plans. Let Your Spirit give us enough courage to believe in Your team, and follow the guidelines of You. Let Your Spirit hold our hands and lead us to victory and success. In Jesus' Most Powerful Name, Amen.
